An Open Universe Program

Open Invitational

International art fairs that create opportunity and connection, bringing artists from progressive studios to the world stage.

Next: Miami · Dec 1–5, 2026 · Melin Building, 2nd floor, Miami Design District

Open Invitational is the program most people know us by: an international art fair dedicated to artists from progressive studios, presented with the same seriousness as any major fair. It gives artists and studios a professional stage, connects them with collectors, curators and press, and builds the market that sustains their careers. Its year-round home is Open Invitational Gallery.

Year-round

Open Invitational Gallery

Our year-round exhibition and sales program: solo shows, openings and group exhibitions of the artists we work with. It began as Open Studio at 127 Henry Street in New York in August 2025 and reopened in Miami on October 1, 2026 as Open Invitational Gallery, with its office and exhibition space at Tunnel. All sales run through Open Universe, Inc., with proceeds supporting artists and the mission.

A crowd at an opening inside Open Studio's storefront gallery on Henry Street in New York, with paintings on the white walls and the door propped open to the sidewalk. — Where it began: an opening at Open Studio, 127 Henry Street, New York. The gallery is now Open Invitational Gallery, with a new space at Tunnel in Miami.
